According to our friends at Adobe, there are some compatibility issues with a few programs.
Here is a excerpt from their Q&A.
Thanks to close collaboration between Adobe and Apple, most of the CS3 applications and associated technologies, such as Adobe Bridge CS3, Version Cue CS3, and Device Central CS3, are compatible with Mac OS X Leopard without requiring additional updates. However, the following CS3 applications will require updates for full compatibility with Leopard:Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional and our professional video applications, including Adobe Premiere Pro CS3, After Effects CS3 Professional, Encore CS3, and Soundbooth CS3. We expect to publish free Leopard compatibility updates for the video applications in December 2007 and for Acrobat 8 Professional and Adobe Reader 8 in January 2008.

Now I know people who have upgraded to Leopard and their CS2 - CS3 programs are running better than ever. Also, I know people who are having launching issues under Leopard. So the lesson here is to BACK UP everything before you install Leopard. This way you have a full copy of your hard drive to revert back too.
The wait for Acrobat 8 to be update isn't so bad because the basic features of pdf manipulation are now available in preview. So if you are like myself and really use Acrobat for basic pdf manipulation than you probably can live with preview until the update is released in January 2008.
LIGHTROOM
Lightroom users will have to wait a short time for an update. Adobe claims they will have a free update to Lightroom in mid November. So two weeks isn't a bad wait at all. But if you are a hard core Lightroom user such as myself you will have to wait to put Leopard on your production machine.
The Lightroom Journal, produced by the Lightroom team has posted the following:
As noted in Adobe’s Leopard FAQ the current version of Lightroom 1.2 is not fully compatible with Leopard, Mac OS X 10.5. The good news is that we’ll be releasing an update in mid-November that will address key compatibility issues. In the interim, the following list describes areas where photographers may encounter problems with Lightroom 1.2 on Leopard:
The Print module may not load
The Import dialog and other dialogs can “disappear” below Lightroom’s main window. The dialog can be retrieved by switching to another application and then returning to Lightroom.
Lightroom’s web module may not provide a visual update after a setting is changed
The left-side panels in the Develop module may not display properly. Resizing or closing/opening the panels will correct the issue.
The interaction between Leopard’s Time Machine and Lightroom’s catalog files is unknown at this time. Running Time Machine backup or restore operations while Lightroom is in use is not recommended until more information can be obtained
